 a tall order

Our story

When I moved into my dream apartment, I was chasing that cozy, creative loft vibe—think New Girl. Before I even had a bed, I threw down a pile of blankets, strung up some lights, and built a giant mirror to transform the space. It was bold, beautiful… and totally impractical. One solid, heavy piece that couldn’t be moved or disassembled. When it came time to relocate, it wouldn’t fit down the stairs—and could probably crush me if it tipped over.

That’s when the idea sparked: what if this game-changing mirror could come apart? Be light, modular, and easy to move? I sketched a better version—but didn’t take it seriously until I was laid off. Needing a next step, I posted the original mirror for $500 (which I discovered was less than the cost of materials… RIP). In just 18 days, 50 people reached out. That’s when I knew: this wasn’t just a cool idea. It was a business.

CONSTANT GROWTH

Our mirror design has undergone a remarkable evolution to enhance both functionality and ease of use. The newest iteration now breaking down into a stack of lightweight pieces probably no heavier than a gallon of milk. To give the illusion the mirror hovers off the wall we’ve even incorporated LED lights to the back of the frame. Check out our evolution!
